An earthquake measuring 5.7 on the Richter scale rocked most parts of North India on Monday afternoon. The tremors were felt for approximately three seconds.
There was no immediate report of any loss of life or property.
“The quake was epicentred at Indo-Nepal border,” a senior Met department official said.
